All too often we are told by gun-banning politicians that they “support the 2nd Amendment and our heritage of sporting and hunting.”  But shooting competitions and dead ducks has absolutely nothing to do with our Founding Father’s intention.

It has everything to do with defending our country (not the government) from all enemies.  Foreign and domestic.

This short video of “The Battle of Athens” shares an amazing story in 1946 when tyranny was crushed under American’s who wouldn’t lie down and wouldn’t tolerate corruption in the government.  Let us not forget.

 ”The Battle of Athens was an armed rebellion led by WWII veterans and citizens in Athens and Etowah, Tennessee, United States, against the tyrannical local government in August 1946.”
