Three men in Louisiana were cited for possessing 74 sharks this past weekend, according to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division.

State regulations limit commercial shark fishermen to 36 large coastal sharks per vessel per day. Agents said the three men – Daie Minh Le,  Hung Van Le V and Thanh Van Le – were still fishing when they checked them. The sharks in their possession were mostly blacktip, with one hammerhead.

The citation can bring a $100-$350 fine and up to 60 days in jail.
