Don't tread on the cottonmouth! While searching my photo archives, I came across this cool shot of a super angry cottonmouth.

Underwater Fish Cams: Are they Cheating? Ever since underwater fish cams became popular, people have argued over whether or not they give you an unfair advantage over the competition - and the fish. In fact, several tournament trails have banned fish cams from their events. But, are they really worth this sort of dust-up?

The Good, The Bad, and The Skunked Thursday morning, nothing. Another long, tedious Thursday afternoon, and more nothing. A rather prolonged Friday morning set, nothing.

Lake Lavon Crappie & White Bass on Fire (Pics) Lake Lavon is super hot right now fishing wise. Sand Bass and Crappie are doing very good right now. Limits of both on a guided trip are not uncommon. Only factor is the wind. 10 mph and lower will bring the fish into the boat. Any windier, and you will have trouble keeping the lure or minnow steady.

Mitchell Product Review While flipping through the outdoor channels on television one Saturday morning (because rain had screwed up my fishing plans and you really didn't expect me to do anything productive around the house did you?) I came across a show conducting a product review on a new rifle scope.

Jalacado Sauce This is a recipe I created on a Sunday afternoon while frying up some fresh fish. I love the flavor of Guacamole with my Mexican seafood dishes, so I decided to try adding some fresh avocado to a batch of Jalapeno Tarter sauce, well it came out fantastic! I hope you will keep it and try it out the next time you are having a fish fry. It goes well with shrimp too!

It Has Started Well, friends, all I can say is that I wish Tom Horn was running for president; or maybe Teddy Roosevelt.
