Catching Blue Gill Sunfish is easy, fun, and cheap to do. Light line 2-4 LB line will work well. No need for braid or heavier line. Find a local pond or creek near you. See where the people feed the ducks and there will be Blue Gills near by. Or hit the local creeks and wade them or walk the banks and site fish for them. There should be plenty of Blue Gills in one area due to they like to school with each other.
