Who wouldn’t like to try this out?
East Texas “Top Shot” Events
I’ll be at a few places these next 2 weekends and wanted to give everyone an invite. Friday, June 15th, I’ll be speaking at a Father’s Day Banquet for Christian Fellowship Worship Center in Beaumont. The meal is already sold out, but folks are welcome to come @ 7pm to hear about my … Continue reading

New Suitcase Sniper Rifle from LaRue Tactical (video)
LaRue Tactical unveiled their new takedown suitcase rifle at SHOT show this year. It can be completely disassembled and reassembled with hardly any change in zero. I’ve taken their 16″ OBR out to 1,000 yards without any trouble; this is going to be one neat and accurate rifle.

Chupacabra or Mangy Coyote? [Pics]
I shot this mangy beast on the shore of Lake Sam Rayburn a few years back when my dogs bayed it up under a vehicle at midnight. I believe it was just an ugly/mangy/rabid coyote. Some say it sure has a short tail to be a yote and might be … Continue reading
Oil Filter Firearm Silencer [Video]
I’ve heard rumors of folks making an illegal suppressor out of oil filters, but it looks like someone has now marketed a legal way of doing this. It isn’t near as much quality as a real can, nor is it frugal use of your $200 tax stamp, but it is … Continue reading

I recently partnered with author David Morris to demonstrate much of the same skills and techniques that I used on Top Shot for his new book, “Tactical Firearms Training Secrets.” In this book he covers basic skill set, proper form, dry fire training, using airsoft for training, mental rehearsal and several other … Continue reading
Hog Headshot from a Helicopter! (Video)
On our recent hunt with JB Hunting Ranch, I dropped one hog with a single .223 round to the head, from the chopper. It was just like another Top Shot challenge! If you love hog hunting – you’ll love Chester Moore’s new book Hog Wild. For more info on HB Hunting … Continue reading
Six Year Old Shooting Competitor [Video]
Came across this video the other day, now the appropriate age for every young shooter totally depends on each young fellow. For instance, my 6 year old is only ready for an airsoft gun. Yet, check out this young boy shooting a .45 caliber at a professional competition. Amazing.
