Another Top Shot Joins the Ranks

History aired the Season 4 Finale of Top Shot this past Tuesday.  Chris Cheng, a computer IT tech, emerged as the next Top Shot Champion and joins the ranks of Iain Harrison, Chris Reed and myself.

Chris shared his strategy on his online interviews and it was surprisingly the same as mine – “just have fun!”  He didn’t bring any fancy shooting titles, military or law enforcement experience to Top Shot, but a passion about guns and a desire to compete.  Seems that might become a theme on this History Channel series.

From my own experience, I simply “Shot my best and trusted God with the rest” and it did me very well.  Some of the other competitors had firearms vocations and titles to uphold.  I suppose for Chris and I it was simply another fun day at the range.  Without any fancy training Chris bested his competition which goes to show that natural ability can carry you a long way.  Top Shot is beginning to work as a scouting opportunity to discover skilled natural marksman.

You could be the next Top Shot.

Top Shot hasn’t announced a season 5 yet, but when they do announce the casting search I’ll be sure to let everyone know from my fanpage.
