  1. Dustin,

Have you had any failure to feeds with it yet? Mine seems be be picky with ammo. Doesn’t like Fed or Winchester bulk packs. The Remington “improved” Golden Bullets seem to be best. When it happens, it is almost always the second round in the mag. Fed bulk might FTF every other magazine and get worse as the gun dirties.

  2. No Matt, it’s been pretty good. I think I had one FTF in a couple hundred rounds. Always shooting the 550 Federal bulk. If I have an update I’ll let ya know!

  3. Been meaning to call Ruger about it but I have not had the chance. A few others have posted on youtube etc that they had similar problems. Most people don’t have any problems.

Other than being picky, I love the gun. Next gun is the Ruger Takedown since I already have mags etc for the Ruger Charger.

    • I actually have a takedown to test out. Seems every bit as good as the original, it simply breaks into 2 pieces!. I’ll do some accuracy tests with a mounted optic soon enough :)

  4. I bought an SR22 in March and love it. Early on I had a couple FTF, but I attributed them to the gun not being broken in yet. It did seem that after around 300 rounds, I would have to do a quick field cleaning. I now have about 2,000 rounds through it and it will shoot any ammo I put in it. It is a great little gun that is fun and inexpensive to shoot. For the price, it comes packed full of features. I agree though, the safety/decocker seems backwards, but it is easy to get used to.
