Protect Those Eyes!

We all know we should wear eye protection when shooting, but sometimes we can be lazy, especially while hunting or just sending a few rounds downrange.

I was recently testing out a new AR 22LR upper when a casing exploded without the bolt being completely in battery.  Seems as if the cartridge didn’t fully seat due to a cheap damaged round, but the rifle still fired.  The bullet still had enough gas to exit the barrel, but the casing could have done some major damage to myself.

I was very glad to be wearing my Wiley X glasses and will continue to do so anytime I’m shooting, even while hunting.  Having personally met owner Mark Fisher, I can testify that he is passionate about eyewear and protecting his customers.  Check them out at www.wileyx.com.  And then “Like” them on facebook for a chance to win a free pair ever week!
