In the wake of the “Double Barrel 1911″ released a few months ago we now have a “double barrel AR” manufactured by Silver Shadow. I’d have to say, this seems a bit more practical than the fat and ugly 1911. But necessary? Certainly gives an advantage. I would love to … Continue reading
John Burns makes a very long shot on a call shy coyote. John is using the P105 rifle in 243 Win. Graybull Precision custom scope has a yardage marked turret that is matched to this individual rifle and load performance for drop and wind drift. The right equipment, fairly calm … Continue reading
Silenced revolvers mostly appear in hollywood, where everything is fake anyhow. In hollywood guns are magical evil things with heat seeking bullets and scopes work just fine mounted backwards. This results in a supersonic crack that is quite loud. We don’t realize this most of … Continue reading
I shot this mangy beast on the shore of Lake Sam Rayburn a few years back when my dogs bayed it up under a vehicle at midnight. I believe it was just an ugly/mangy/rabid coyote. Some say it sure has a short tail to be a yote and might be … Continue reading
I’ve heard rumors of folks making an illegal suppressor out of oil filters, but it looks like someone has now marketed a legal way of doing this. It isn’t near as much quality as a real can, nor is it frugal use of your $200 tax stamp, but it is … Continue reading
