Law enforcement personnel confirmed to FOX 26 News that Dylan Quick, a 21-year-old student at Lone Star College-CyFair, has been arrested and is being questioned in the mass-stabbing incident at a Texas community college that left 14 wounded, two critically.
The attack about 11:20 a.m. on the Lone Star Community College System’s campus in Cypress sent at least 12 people to hospitals, while several others refused treatment at the scene, according to Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department spokesman Robert Rasa. Two people remained in critical condition Tuesday evening at Memorial Hermann Texas Trauma Institute, spokeswoman Alex Rodriguez said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that Quick used a “razor-type knife” to cut his victims, and pieces of the blade were found at the scene.
Investigators also said Quick indicated he’d been planning the attack for some time.
