A shirtless man, 31-year-old Kyle Caldwell, approached the home of Betty Collins at 4:45 a.m. and began kicking the door, trying to get inside.
“I screamed as loud as I could, ‘get off my porch. I have a gun. I will shoot you.’ And he stayed at the door,” Collins said. “He didn’t move, so I opened the door and there he was, standing five inches from the barrel of a loaded .357.”
“I said, ‘Get on the ground.’ and he got on his knees. I said, ‘no, put your face in the dirt and you’re gonna stay there.’,” Collins said.
She then held Caldwell at gun point until police arrived and arrested him.
