A shark ended up as a snack for a bigger shark as a fisherman tried to reel it in.
The big one was drawn to the boat by the smaller predator as it struggled on the hook off Kaiteriteri, the south island of New Zealand.
Identified only as Mancubus, the fisherman lost his catch.

Editor’s Note: Several sources identified both sharks as great whites, and implied the second shark was quite large. Both assertions are incorrect.
