According to a May 25 report by CNN.com, a young woman in England was mauled to death by atiger at the zoo where she worked. The young woman was only 24 years old, and she was a zoo keeper at South Lakes Wild Animal Park in Dalton-in-Furness.
The Facebook page for the South Lakes Wild Animal Park in Dalton-in-Furnessindicates that the young lady’s name was Sarah, although no last name was given. The zoo’s page was fraught with controversy, for some reason, after the accident. The zoo is also receiving many comments of sympathy and support for Sarah’s family and friends and the zoo itself.
The zoo owner struggled with the decision to quickly reopen after being given the all-clear by authorities who investigated the death. They did reopen the zoo, which seemed to please the majority of people who commented on the Facebook page.
