Feral hogs have been a problem in the state for some time. Now, they are well-established in Dallas.
This morning, the council approved a three-year contract with trapper Osvaldo Rojas to capture as many of the hogs as he can that are roaming city-owned land.
The hogs will be trapped and transferred to a slaughterhouse for destruction.
Rojas has been working with the city for many months already. Robert reported in April on his efforts to cull hogs along the upper Trinity levee area.
