A teenager was taken to the hospital after suffering some kind of bite while swimming in the ocean at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Photographs of the wound will be sent to experts at the University of Florida to determine if is a shark bite. Shark specialists are already reviewing bites from four other people injured in a 10-minute span while swimming off Myrtle Beach. In that attack, one witness said that a victim was in chest-deep water with his girlfriend when the attack happened. “There were about five large indentations on his calf. The blood was pouring down to his ankle and he had five sets of teeth marks,” witness John Gonas said.
