Welcome to year 5 of Flounder Revolution!

Welcome to year five of the Flounder Revolution(R)!

It is hard to believe so much time has passed since we started awarding flounder replicas to the anglers who caught, released and photographed flounder measuring 20 inches or more but here we are.

I am excited to announce we are partnering with Texas Fish & Game to bring you a weekly blog (minimum) instead of a monthly newsletter as well as enhanced prizes, regular drawings and a whole new level of Flatfish University (TM) classes.

The author with the last flounder he caught in 2012. Not a bad way to go out, eh?

Our motto has always been “The future of flounder fishing begins here” and we are ramping things up for year five. Here’s just a snippet of what to expect.

*A minimum of eight Flatfish University (TM) classes including events in new cities (Corpus Christi, possibly San Antonio)

*Online Flatfish University (TM) classes

*Monthly flounder prize drawings

*Increased flounder technique blogs and articles

*Regional “Angler of the Year” titles for Galveston Bay complex and Sabine/Calcasieu

*Official Flounder Revolution (R) merchandise

Plus much, much more including a forthcoming free audio download teaching on flounder conservation, proper catch-and-release methods and instructions for donating to Texas hatcheries.

Since 1995, I have written more than 500 flounder articles, two books and conducted in the neighborhood of 200 flounder seminars/clinics. After all of that I am proud to say this partnership with Texas Fish & Game has inspired me to up my game on flounder fishing and conservation and take the movement to new levels.

That of course would not be possible without you. Thanks to all of you who have allowed me to live many of my flatfish dreams through your undying support. Doing it on my own, things have not always been done as quickly as needed but now I have a support team here. Thanks flounder anglers for everything you have done for me and more importantly flounder.

Read me here every week and then some and remember to DREAM BIG in 2013, especially when it comes to catching flounder.

God bless,

Chester Moore
