I caught, took a pic, and released my first trophy trout. I was tempted to keep this sow but thought that she will be better served populating the gene pool. I went out with a plan to catch a red to bring and cook for a Boy Scouts campout. I released her instead in hopes to catch her again for the STAR tournament. The day got better when I returned to catch my first grand slam. I did however keep the flounder and red. I am glad I made the investment to purchase my Pro Angler. It paid off dividends that day. I can’t wait to catch my next trophy!
