TF&G Reader Story: How Fast is a Cheetah? Check Out This Video

TF&G readers Jennifer, Rob, Grace, and Mitchell Cooksey sent us this video from their recent trip to Mukuni Big 5 Safaris in Victoria Falls, Zambia.  The Cookseys had a unique opportunity to watch this cheetah chase simulated prey on a pulley and see just how fast this big cat can run.  Needless to say, the cell phone video footage is awesome and a great example of the speed of these African predators.

Cheetahs are the fastest land creatures on the planet.  Cheetahs were used for centuries as hunting animals due to their speed and ease in domesticating.
