Video: Shark swims near paddleboarders

New video shows a young great white shark swimming dangerously close to paddleboarders in Manhattan Beach.

Local photographer Bo Bridges filmed the shark Monday morning using a drone, which flew over Manhattan Beach, KTLA reported.

He reportedly spotted the shark about 100 feet off the coast while he and his friends were paddleboarding.

“Once you see it, your knees kind of go weak if you’re on a paddleboard … the fear hits first, and the excitement kind of gets to you too, and then the curiosity as well, so you just start to follow them a little bit,” Bridges told KTLA.

The sighting comes a day after two swimmers spotted an eight- to 10-foot great white shark at Leadbetter beach in Santa Barbara. The shark was reportedly chasing a sea lion.
