I had pictures of several different Axis on my game cameras but had never seen this Axis until he walked out in the beginning of January. I was shocked and surprised to say the least. I squeezed the trigger and down he went. While keeping an eye on him I immediately texted my taxidermist asking how much a shoulder mount would be. Needless to say, I’m waiting for the call to tell me it’s ready.
