Katy ISD teachers preparing for the first day of school got a surprise Wednesday morning when an alligator was found on campus.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the gator was found by the front door of Beck Junior High in the 50000 block of South Fry Road.
“Somebody thinks today is the first day of school! At@katyisd BeckJH,” FBCSO posted on their Twitter account with a picture of the cornered gator.
Officials with the Texas Wildlife Park were called out and are trying to safely remove the animal.
