Today is the last day of summer, and here is a list of the latest vehicle recalls in no particular order:

General Motors —

Brake defect for parking brake which can remained partially engaged causing the brakes to heat up.

  • Cadillac XTS – 2013, 2014
  • Chevrolet Impala – recent versions

Contact GM or your dealer for specifics

Chrysler —

Fuel pump relay  susceptible to deformation which may prevent a vehicle from starting or lead to engine stall

  • Jeep Grand Cherokee – 2011
  • Dodge Durango — 2011

  • Fiat – 2014/2015

Contact Chrysler’s Customer Information Center: 800-853-1403

As with all recalls, the manufacturer will notify the original owners (and since these are all for very current vehicles, that will be most people).
