Previously, Ruger’s LCRs were only offered in .357 Mag, .38 SP., .22 WMR, and .22 LR The new version is chambered in the very popular and very affordable 9x19mm caliber.

This iteration of the LCR will actually be the heaviest version to date, coming in at just over 17 ounces.

The 9mm version will use the same blackened 400 series stainless steel that the .357 version currently utilizes.

According to a statement made on Ruger’s Facebook page, the new 9mm LCR will utilize moon clips and they will be included with the firearm.
