Reptile Show Comes to Conroe This Weekend

CONROE, TX, January 24th – 25th 2015 – Soon to be the largest reptile show in Texas! Come join us for the first annual HERP Show in North Houston. Browse hundreds of vendor tables that will include thousands of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, feeders, and other exotic pets. There will be educational talks both days, as well as a silent auction Saturday and Sunday to benefit TxARK.

“Our goal is to bring a large exotic reptile and pet show to the Houston area that puts education and conservation at the forefront. There will be educational talks throughout both days, and several tables with information regarding captive and wild conservation efforts in and around Texas. We have chosen a stunning venue and hand selected vendors that best represent the variation and growth of the exotic pet trade. With over 23,000 square feet of floor space, and hundreds of tables filled with beautiful, healthy animals; this is sure to be one of the biggest and best events held in Texas this year.” – Shawn Gray, co-founder of HERPS and interim President of TxARK (Texas Association of Reptile Keepers)

There will be a silent auction benefiting TxARK (www.txark.org) held all day Saturday and Sunday. Our website currently has a list of vendors, but is being updated daily as new businesses sign up. We will be posting a list of guest speakers and times over the next couple of weeks, so please keep checking www.HERPShow.net and Facebook at www.facebook.com/herpshow.
