On April 7, 2015 I was fishing at the Anthony shoals on broad river/ Clark hill lake on rod and real using blue back herring as cut-bait and caught this 64 pound catfish. It took me approximately 30 minutes fighting this fish to finally get it in. Once I got it in close enough, I then got my girl friend, Miranda, who was fishing with me, to net the fish. lastly, once we got the fish in the net, my line snapped and I grabbed the net and pulled it onto the bank and then we took pictures and then we released it safely back into the water.
