About Greater Houston Greenwing Chapter:

13 years ago, the Greater Houston Greenwing Chapter of Ducks Unlimited was chartered. Each year, this group of dedicated volunteers organize an event focused on getting youth active in the outdoors with hands on activities which educate on the importance wetlands and wildlife habitat. Last year’s event hosted 342 youths and their families, participating in activities that helps focus their energy into something that will not only be fun, but in the future will help our environment. Remember, today’s youth are tomorrow’s conservationist and outdoor enthusiasts. Without them, the future of our outdoors, wetlands and wildlife habitat are at risk.

As we expand and create many new and exciting times at our Youth in the Outdoors Day, we are always looking for new partners and players in this great event. As there is no charge to attend, our chapter relies on donations and underwriting from our community members to fund the event. Monetary donations will be used to underwrite Greenwing memberships, facility cost, and other expenses. Donated items will be used in our Greenwing raffles, goodie bags, adult raffles and silent auction. Our goal is to have no child leave empty handed!

Thank you for your consideration and support of our 2016 Youth in the Outdoors Day. In appreciation, all community members who contribute will be displayed on a Sponsor banner at our event. Should you have any question please contact me at 936-718-3780.

Sincerely,
M. Christina Arellano
