Fitch – The First Autonomous Casting Drone

We all witness to the fast changing  technology in the  fishing industry, from fishing apps, to electric reels and fish sonars, and now a new invention is going to solve some of the shore fisherman’s biggest problems.  Fitch, the first autonomous casting drone is all about reaching new spots and allowing fisherman to fish from anywhere – to anywhere.

The way Fitch works is simple: connecting the line to the drone, choosing the casting spot on the app and pushing the GO button -Fitch will rise above all limitations (like rough surf, headwinds and sharks) to the exact location the user chose on the app.   Fitch will drop the bait/lure, come back and land on its own.  You don’t need to know how to operate a drone, it knows what to do!

Fitch is tailored made for us fisherman, it doesn’t locate fish nor fish for us and there is no remote control so we can focus on what we came to do, FISHING! Fitch is super easy to use, very durable (its water proof and it floats!), it knows to come back if it’s low on battery, with a flight time of 25 minutes and easy to replace batteries it can insure a full fishing day. Fitch can lift up to 2 lb. of lure/bait and can fly to missions up to 1500 ft. away!

Fitch will only reveal the retail price at the official launch date early 2017.
