The Very Best of The Best of the Outdoors Podcast

As another year come to a close, we start to take this time to reflect on the current year and all of its events. This year marks the resurrection of the Texas Fish & Game podcast which originally started in 2013 under the late Don Zaidle and now TF&G editor-in-chief Chester Moore. When I joined the TF&G team full time in the beginning of 2016, I had started a podcast I called The Best of the Outdoors on my own but had let it go dormant after releasing the last episode at the end of 2015. I met with the TF&G team and we all agreed that having a podcast would be an a great content addition to the already talent-rich line up of the magazine, FishGame.com, and other platforms associated with the TF&G brand.

I was honored to continue to host the show from my home office and recording studio in Central Texas and  invite great guests from past episodes and have new guests on the show. We started releasing new episodes in May of this year and, over this past summer, started an every other week schedule for releasing shows. This week, since it is a short week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to take some time and thank you so much for listening and being a part of this show. Instead of a new show this week, we thought it would be a good idea to have a “Best of” podcast week and feature some of the most popular shows from this year for your listening or re-listening pleasure. Just click on the play button and wait for the music:

If you haven’t done so already, please subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or through your favorite podcast player. New shows will be downloaded to your mobile device automatically when you do. Just search for our show name in your podcast app and you should find us. Also, please rate the show and leave a comment. We read every bit of feedback on the show and a positive rating helps more people find the show inside and outside the TF&G audience.

We have many new guests and topics to cover the rest of this year into next year and I am excited to have you along for the ride. Thank you so much for your continued support of this podcast!
