A Look At 2019 For The Outdoor Nation

Members of the Outdoor Nation here at fishgame.com and at Texas Fish & Game (TFG) magazine have a lot to look forward to in 2019.

On the journalistic side of things we are working on several investigative pieces on issues pertaining to poaching, the Gulf flounder fishery and the future of bass fishing. We have uncovered some things that we will cover in great detail because they will have a gigantic impact on the future of the great outdoors. And you will be able to see it here through fishgame.com, our weekly e-newsletters and what is becoming an increasingly powerful media tool-the digital edition of Texas Fish & Game.

Publisher Roy Neves works relentlessly in upgrading the digital issue to make it interactive with videos, additional articles and many more photos. In 2019 all digital editions will have three new features added. These include an exclusive Flounder Revolution column penned by the flounder expert himself Chester Moore.  Moore will also provide a 10-minute wildlife audio teaching in each issue and Dustin Vaughn Warncke will provide specialized video outdoor tips.

TFG will have a presence at the Houston Boat Show Jan. 4-13 and on Jan. 10 will do Facebook live coverage. We will also provide coverage through Facebook live of the SHOT Show in Las Vegas Jan. 22-25 and ICAST July 10-12. We want this to be interactive so keep an eye on our Facebook feed those weeks for opportunities to send us on video assignments at the shows and question top experts in the field.

TFG will have a booth at the Houston Fishing Show March 6-10. TFG Editor-In-Chief will hold a special flounder seminar 1:30 p.m. Saturday March 9 where he will be making a big announcement.

Our team works hard to provide cutting-edge coverage of the great outdoors and opportunities for you to connect via our social media. We never take any of this for granted and pledge to be focused like never before in 2019.
