Houston SCI Offers Special Hunter Ed Class

It’s time to start planning for the 19th annual, award-winning,
SCI HOUSTON HUNTER EDUCATION CLASS!

DATE:
May 20, 2023 – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

LOCATION:
Acres Ranch – Richmond, Texas

The Houston chapter of Safari Club International is the largest SCI chapter in the world and hosts one of the largest hunter education programs in the nation!

SCI HOUSTON covers all expenses for this class. Breakfast, lunch, bottled water and snacks are provided as well! Lunch will be provided courtesy of our friends at Bonfire Wings, and again, there will be lots of cool prizes, too!

This class will be everything necessary to obtain the TPWD Hunters Education requirements for all participants over the age of nine years. We will have the classroom portion and exam as well as the field exercises. We have space for 100 attendees, all children must be accompanied by a guardian, and adults are encouraged to participate in the class as well.

This event will be held under a covered pavilion with fans and circulation to keep things comfortable, however, the outside temperatures can still be a little warm in May We will provide plenty of snacks and drinks, and we will take plenty of breaks to keep the heat from being a problem. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any special needs or concerns.

We have multiple spots available for both Contributing Instructors and Volunteers. If you are interested in being an instructor or volunteer, please contact Daniel Billings at ptoutdoors@yahoo.com or 713-416-8020.

If you have any questions or concerns about the class or need to make special accommodations please contact:
Daniel Billings – ptoutdoors@yahoo.com or
