Hunter Kills Deer With Third Eye

Reader Becky Kaminsky reached out to us about a very unusual buck her husband Gary killed.

“Gary harvested a 10 point buck that was 17 inches wide and 196 pounds,” she said.

“As the pictures note there was a large bulge under his left eye.  The taxidermist, Royce Standley stated there was a complete eyeball & socket under left eye. There was only skin covering the third eye..”

We’ve seen a lot of weird deer ranging from piebalds to melanistic and even does with antlers but never a buck with a third eye.

“It is quite a trophy & weird phenomenon,” she said.

No doubt.
