Future Anglers Association was founded and developed by Captain Jesse Francisco in the early months of 2013.
Co-Founder Jeffrey Acosta and Captain Jesse Francisco began a friendship based on the one passion they each
grew up to love, “Fishing”. As their friendship grew closer while fishing local saltwater tournaments around the
Galveston Bay Complex together the conversation of a youth saltwater series arouse. Sharing the same passion
to sh and loving memorable stories they shared of their children; Captain Jesse and Jeffrey decided to go all in.
The vision has always been the development and growth of a saltwater fishing series for the youth. Future Anglers
Association excludes no angler regardless of age and or skill set they have become a conduit for the development
of our youth and tournament anglers who are willing to commit themselves to the highest challenges of fishing.
Their goal is to guide the young anglers to become sponsored participants in local and national competitions.
Future Anglers Association is based on educating the growing youth anglers to help influence their awareness
of the sport of fishing.
Future Anglers Association will host 4 Captain’s meeting and 4 Tournament events this year with three divisions
of youth saltwater Tournaments in a series. The tournament dates are as followed JULY 12, AUGUST 9,
SEPTEMBER 13, And OCTOBER 11, 2014 with the captain’s meeting dates set before the tournament dates as
JULY 10, AUGUST 7, SEPTEMBER 11, and OCTOBER 9, 2014. The participating anglers can range from pre-k through
12th grade which will break down as the following Division #1 Pre-K – 3rd, Division #2 4th-8th, and Division #3
9th-12th. The 1st Annual Fishing Tournament will be held on July 12, 2014 with the weight location at Latitudes
1817 Avenue K, San Leon, TX 77539 (281) 339-1110. The Captain meeting which is a event for anglers and their
families to ask questions and register in person will be held July 10, 2014 with Baad Marine 18300 E HWY 6
Santa Fe, Texas 77511 (281) 317-7329. Future Anglers Association will continue to grow as young anglers come
out to a fun day with sponsored booth stations with moon walks, snow cone machines and Texas Parks And Wildlife
