This picture was taken at Thanksgiving near Eden, Texas in Concho County at RFP Ranch. My daughter was hunting with me using her youth model Weatherby 7mm-08. We were hunting for deer, but when 3 big toms showed up, she decided to try a turkey. She was 12 years old at the time. The turkey had a 9 3/4 inch beard. She bagged her first turkey with 1 shot at about 85 yards.
