Jerry Miculek has pretty much done it all in his storied career as a professional shooter. That’s probably why he feels the need to keep pushing the envelope further and further with his shooting videos over the last couple of years.

Jerry doesn’t disappoint in this video. He quick-scopes a Barrett .50 cal rifle and nails a balloon at 1,000 yards.

What’s even more impressive is that he does the whole thing off-hand while standing. Most shooters would have trouble with this shot while shooting from a rest.

You’ve got to love Jerry’s excitement when he makes amazing shots even after all of these years. You can tell he truly loves what he does!

The ammo used for the shoot is Hornady 750 grain (yep, 750 grain!) A-Max .50 BMG ammunition.

Jerry Miculek is part of the Smith and Wesson competition shooting team. He is a Seven time USPSA 3-Gun National Championship, Four time USPSA Multi-gun National Championship, Twenty time International Revolver Champion, Eight time USPSA National Revolver Champion, and Ten time IDPA Enhanced Service Revolver Champion, among others.

Here is the Youtube video description:

You’ve seen him rapidfire the beast- but this time Jerry Miculek makes an outstanding, seemingly impossible shot using a 34 pound Barrett M107 50 caliber rifle, a Vortex Razor HD gen II JM, and Hornady 750gr A-MAX ammunition.

Another well done video Jerry! Keep it up!
