Kimber has introduced their first revolver – the K6 in .357 Magnum. It was plenty accurate and had an acceptable double action trigger. I was fond of the cylinder catch.
I was able to fire the newly released Silencer Co hybrid suppressor – a universal modular suppressor capable of firing anything up to .45-70, .458 SOCOM and below.
And the Maxim 9mm integrated pistol was surprisingly light. We weren’t allowed to shoot it, but folks will be happy to know it takes Glock mags. Price point is supposed to be below $2k
Visiting the KRISS booth full of suppressed, full auto SBRs is always fun. Besides the pistol, carbine with fake suppressor (barrel shroud) and SBR pictured in 9mm and .45ACP they also plan to introduce .40S&W and 10mm models this year. Hog hunting anyone?
I didn’t feel like waiting in line for trigger time, however they had the new civilian legal semi-automatic SAW up to test fire next to a (restricted) full auto version.
I think this new Ruger suppressor has some great qualities. It’s strong, has locking stainless baffles, and a low price point. I hope to review it more in depth in the future.
You can now put an AR stock on your SOCOM with the new chassis.
The Savage 10BA series has always looked awesome, however this new chassis is much more practical.
You guessed it – shoot a bolt (arrow) at 400+FPS with this $2k PCP airbow.
The Ghost suppressor utilized old school design by including a replaceable “wipe” at the end of the can that the bullet actually passes through. It will last a couple of dozen rounds. Will it interfere with accuracy and decrease velocity? I’d love to have had more time with it to find out.
And finally – shooting the VLTOR 40mm grenade launcher. Yeah yeah… it was only chalk.
