At Shot Show 2016 we covered the progress of the Cabot Guns meteorite 1911 pistols that were underway.

Recently at the NRA annual meeting they unveiled the entire pistol package.

The pistols are fully-functional – and resultant of their National Match barrels, accurate; verified both on the rest and in off-hand shooting. Leaving nothing to chance in terms of functionality, our engineers used electron beam technology to meticulously add bimetal support only to the frame/slide rails, hammer, guide rod and extractor of the Big Bag set. – and the pistol’s components, down to the barrel bushing and trigger – are 100% Gibeon meteorite.

I know what you are thinking: “Do they work?”  and “How much?”

They were test fired at Cabot’s Indiana facility and the craftsman told “It was even more nerve-racking than the first time we cut through the meteor. But they shot.  Everything worked exactly as it should.”

As for the price, they are being listed at $4.5 million.
