Morgan said the boar weighed about 150 pounds, had long tusks and walked out on the road in front of he and his dog.

“At first, I thought it was just going to walk back into the woods but the my dog started barking. The next thing I knew the hog was on top of me and I was on the ground,” Morgan said.

While Morgan fought to keep the hog from slashing his face or neck, the dog was pulling on the back side of the hog’s head.

“There’s no doubt if I didn’t have my dog ‘Ace’ with me I might not be alive today,” he said.
