Bill Cook of Houston, Texas, caught this 15.67-pound fish on February 11 and weighed it in at the Bass Champs Tournament at Cypress Bend (on the Louisiana side of the lake).
This is a new Toledo Bend Lake Record and was fish number 18 for the May 2022 to May 2023 year for the Toledo Bend Lake Association Lunker Bass Program.
That program seeks bass weighing 10 pounds or more caught on Toledo Bend and then tags and releases the fish. Anglers are given a replica of their catch.
Ryan Brunk of Germantown, Ohio, caught this 11.68-pound fish on February 18, 2023, and weighed it in at Living The Dream Guide Service.
Tony Coburn of Lake Charles, Louisiana, caught this 11.57-pound fish on February 18, 2023, and weighed it in at Buckeye Landing.
Layne Mercer of Lumberton, Texas, caught this 10.09-pound fish on February 18, 2023, and weighed it in at The Southeast Texas Highschool Fishing Tournament at Cypress Bend Pavilion.
