The Golden Crescent of Texas Chapter hosts a banquet every year to raise money for projects that conserve wildlife and preserve hunting heritage in our great state of Texas.

“We’re still a few months away from our banquet, but we returned from the National Convention energized and hit the ground running,” said chapter banquet chairperson Lee Zimmerman.

“Our team plans on making this year’s banquet even bigger and better than our first!” Zimmerman added.

“You wouldn’t believe the friendship and camaraderie we were shown at this year’s NWTF Convention and Sport Show. This was the largest attended NWTF Convention ever and it was like a huge family reunion. We’ll definitely return every year if we possibly can and I think everyone that hunts, enjoys the great outdoors and is conservation minded, should put it on their Bucket List! It’s that good!”

“This is the chapter’s second year hosting our banquet and we’re really excited about getting it going and making it a tradition for years to come. It’s the best opportunity in town to meet other people who care about conservation while enjoying good food, good music and good fun.”

Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner starts at 7:30pm.

“Families can play games and enter raffles to win name brand guns,” Zimmerman said.

“There will also be silent and live auctions for exclusive framed art, guns, collectibles, sculptures home furnishings and so more. Come out, eat great food, play some games, try your luck and bid on some treasures.”

Corporate sponsor tables are available and include a corporate sponsor gift. Couple’s tickets and single tickets are available. All ticket prices include admission, dinner and a single one-year NWTF membership.

Local and state NWTF chapters host thousands of similar events nationwide each year to raise funds that help conserve wildlife and habitat, and introduce new people to the outdoors.

Many families enjoy hunting together and pass traditions on from one generation to another. Hunting also is important for the health of our nation’s wildlife and habitat because hunters fund conservation.
