Pan-Seared Redfish with Lemon Butter
Ingredients:

2 redfish fillets (skin on or off)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter
-
1 lemon (juice + zest)

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Recipe Instructions:

Prepare the Fish:
Pat the fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper. -
Heat the Pan:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. -
Sear the Redfish:
Place fillets skin-side down (if skin-on) and cook for 3–4 minutes until the edges begin to turn golden.
Flip carefully and cook for another 2–3 minutes on the other side until cooked through. -
Make the Lemon Butter Sauce:
Reduce heat to low. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add lemon juice and zest. Swirl to combine. -
Plate and Serve:
Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fish. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
