Two of the most recognizable names in fishing technology are preparing to unveil something new this fall.
Minn Kota and Humminbird have announced that Oct. 6, 2026, will mark what the companies describe as a “whole new chapter” in their decades-long relationship.
Both brands are part of Johnson Outdoors and have become increasingly connected on the water as trolling motor, sonar, mapping and boat-control technologies have evolved. Minn Kota trolling motors and Humminbird electronics are familiar equipment for anglers ranging from freshwater bass fishermen to saltwater anglers working bays, marshes and other coastal waters.
Exactly what is coming Oct. 6 remains under wraps.
The companies are currently offering only an early glimpse of the announcement, with additional information expected to be released to the media as the launch approaches.
The teaser comes at a time when integration between trolling motors, marine electronics and navigation technology continues to change how anglers position boats, follow structure and stay on fish.
