Hunting in Cherokee County Texas in a box stand and not seeing any deer movement. Had plenty of birds especially blue birds. They were landing on the roof of my stand. Then one landed on my barrel. I thought how cool that would be to get a picture of that but did not think it would happen a second time. Nonetheless I was not seeing any deer so I pulled out my cell phone and held it in place and in less than 5 mins it happened again and I snapped the picture. It happened a third time on same hunt and again on the following weekend.
