The javelina, unlike feral hogs, is a species native to Texas that doesn’t get the respect it deserves.

A warfarin-based feral hog toxicant has been given the green light to “licensed applicators”.

A concern several hunters have voice is that the use of the toxicant might impact javelina populations.

We have uncovered information showing javelina have experienced a huge decline in range in Texas since 1930 due to a variety of factors including being killed in excess of established bag limits.
