Black Hills Ammunition’s  6 ARC 90 Gr. Dual Performance

The 6 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is the most capable cartridge to fit into an AR 15/M4 platform. Compared to even the best 5.56 cartridges, the 6 ARC has more projectile weight, with a higher ballistic coefficient, more energy, and less wind drift. 

For 2024, Black Hills Ammunition has developed a new projectile for this cartridge to make it even more versatile. The new Black Hills 6 ARC 90 grain Dual Performance load is designed to shoot flatter to 600 yards compared to the 103 ELD-X® introduced last year, plus open immediately upon impact to create a large 7” diameter wound channel. Velocity is 2650 fps with over 1400 Ft. Lbs. of energy. 

The monolithic solid copper bullet is designed through the wonders of modern precision machining for the petals to separate after impact and penetration, spreading to create their own wound tracks through the stretched tissue, significantly adding to terminal performance. The solid copper shank remaining then continues to penetrate deeply (18+ inches) to ensure game stopping performance. This new load will prove to be an exceptional option for hunting with your modern sporting rifle.
